Plan Your Journey by Asking Claude or ChatGPT
Connect Claude or ChatGPT to NomadPoint and plan by asking. It reads your real journey and adds stays, flights and activities straight into the app.

Ask a chat model to plan a journey and you get a list in a chat window. Then you copy it, item by item, into whatever app actually holds your plan, and the next time you ask it starts from zero because it has never seen your journey.
Connecting Claude or ChatGPT to NomadPoint removes both steps. The assistant reads the journey you already have (dates, cities, flights, where you sleep) and writes its suggestions straight into it. They show up in the day planner on your phone a moment later.
What you can ask
Some requests that work well once it is connected:
- "Plan Saturday in Bangkok around my hotel. Morning market, a temple, dinner somewhere near the river."
- "I land in Lisbon on the 14th. Add the flight from my confirmation email and three nights at the place I booked."
- "How many Schengen days do I have left after this route, and when is the latest I can leave Spain?"
- "Move everything on Tuesday in Tokyo to Wednesday, it is going to rain."
- "What did I spend on food in Vietnam, and how does it compare to my budget?"
It sees and edits your journeys, stays, flights, accommodation, day-by-day activities, expenses and budgets. It also gets visa and entry information for the passports you hold, so answers about days left are worked out from your actual dates instead of guessed.
Connect ChatGPT
- In ChatGPT, add a custom connector (under Settings, in the apps or connectors section) and give it this address:
https://nomadpoint.app/mcp - ChatGPT opens a NomadPoint sign-in. Sign in with the same account you use in the app.
- You will see which app is asking for access. Tap Allow.
Then ask about your journey in a new chat and it will use NomadPoint.
Connect Claude
- In the NomadPoint app, open Settings, then Claude / MCP.
- Tap Connect Claude, then Copy prompt.
- Paste the prompt into Claude. It contains the server address and your personal key, and sets Claude up with both.
Connecting is free on every plan.
What it can and cannot reach
The assistant only reaches your own journeys and the shared journeys you have joined. It never sees your password.
You can cut it off at any time. For Claude, tap Disconnect on the same settings screen and the key stops working immediately. For ChatGPT, remove the connector in ChatGPT.
Changes it makes go through the same sync as edits you make by hand, so anyone you share a journey with sees them too. If it adds something you did not want, delete it in the app as usual.
A good way to start
Open the journey you are planning next and ask for one day, not the whole journey: "Plan my first full day in [city], I arrive the night before." Check what it adds in the day planner, then ask it to adjust. Small requests on a real plan go better than one big request.
